Kaboom Play Day

To celebrate our new Kaboom playground we will have a special Kaboom day on Friday the 25th. The students will participate in field day activities. It will be a great day to get the students up and moving. It should also be a lot of fun. Stay tuned for pictures.

Blue Thumbs Up Charm

On Friday we will have our next charm ceremony. The students who have been following the school and classroom rules will be rewarded with a blue thumbs up charm. These charms will grant the students special privileges and rewards.

Interim Reports

Our first interim reports of the school year will be given out this week. This is an early communication tool that will tell you of your child's progess so far. Students who receive poor scores still have six weeks to bring up their grade. We need to work as a team between the parent, the student, and the teacher now. Please do not hesitate to contact me so we can form a plan to help your student in the best way possible. Students who receive good grades now should keep working hard to assure their grades stay that way. Please feel free to contact me to form a plan that will assure your child is working to the best of their ability. If we all work together I know we will have a great year.

Tagging Ceremony

We will hold tagging ceremonies this Friday September 4, 2009 for grades 1-5. This will be the student's first chance to earn a tag. The tag will be a golden apple for our golden bears. The children who earn an apple will be rewarded with special prizes and priveleges for the next three weeks. The students who do not earn a tag this time will have three more weeks to earn the next one. The third grade ceremony will be at 11:15 by the car rider dismissal area.
